The Greystone Inn is located in Western North Carolina about 50 miles southwest of Asheville. The inn is easily accessible to those traveling by car, and there are direct flights available to both the Asheville Regional Airport and Greenville/Spartanburg International Airport from a wide selection of cities. It is a 1 ½ hour drive to the Greystone Inn from the Greenville/Spartanburg airport; 1 hour drive from the Asheville airport; and a 3 hour drive from Atlanta.

Asheville, NC (50 miles)

• Take I-26 East to exit 40 (Hwy 280), also the exit for the Asheville Regional Airport
• Turn right from exit and travel approximately 25 miles to Brevard, NC
• Hwy 280 merges with Hwy 64 in Brevard. No turn is necessary
• Continue on Hwy 64 for 20 miles, which includes the following:

  After 4 miles through Brevard, veer right to continue on 64. After another 15 miles through highway and winding road, veer left to stay on 64 (there will be a sign for Greystone/Lake Toxaway Country Club indicating left). Continue for a mile and turn right into main entrance to Lake Toxaway Estates (there will be a gatehouse and a sign for Greystone/Lake Toxaway Country Club indicating right)

• Travel 3.5 miles from the gatehouse to the inn by following the signs on property

Atlanta, GA (150 miles)

• Leave Atlanta on I-85 North toward Greenville, SC
• After roughly 90 miles, take exit #1 (Hwy 11) in South Carolina and turn left at exit ramp
• After roughly 30 miles, turn left on Hwy 130
• Hwy 130 becomes Hwy 281 once you cross into North Carolina
• Continue on Hwy 281 until you reach Hwy 64
• Turn right on Hwy 64 and travel 1.5 miles
• Turn left into main entrance to Lake Toxaway Estates (there will be a gatehouse and a sign for Greystone/Lake Toxaway Country Club indicating left)
• Travel 3.5 miles from the gatehouse to the inn by following the signs on property

Charlotte, NC (150 miles)

• Travel south on I-277 to I-77 North (exit 5)
• Proceed north on I-77 to I-85 South (exit 13)
• Continue south on I-85 to US-74 West (exit 10B)
• Travel west on US-74 to I-26 West
• Take I-26 West to exit 40 (Hwy 280), also the exit for the Asheville Regional Airport
• Turn left from exit and travel approximately 25 miles to Brevard, NC
• Hwy 280 merges with Hwy 64 in Brevard. No turn is necessary

• Hwy 280 merges with Hwy 64 in Brevard. No turn is necessary
• Continue on Hwy 64 for 20 miles, which includes the following:

  After 4 miles through Brevard, veer right to continue on 64. After another 15 miles through highway and winding road, veer left to stay on 64 (there will be a sign for Greystone/Lake Toxaway Country Club indicating left). • Leave Greenville on Hwy 183 toward Pickens
• In Pickens, take Hwy 178 toward Hwy 11
• Turn left on Hwy 11 toward Hwy 130
• Turn right on Hwy 130 which becomes Hwy 281 once you cross into North Carolina
• Turn right on Hwy 64 and travel 1.5 miles
• Turn left into main entrance to Lake Toxaway Estates (there will be a gatehouse and a sign for Greystone/Lake Toxaway Country Club indicating left)
• Travel 3.5 miles from the gatehouse to the inn by following the signs on property

Raleigh, NC (300 miles)

• Take I-40 West toward Asheville
• Approaching Asheville, take exit for I-26 East
• Take I-26 East to exit 40 (Hwy 280), also the exit for the Asheville Regional Airport
